2,000 Strong — Thank You for Building This Community With Us!

Reaching 2,000 members is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of, not just because of the number but because of how quickly and how organically this community has grown.

When National Association for Professional E-collar Training (NAPET) was formed, the goal was simple: bring together dog trainers, professionals and owners who care deeply about ethical practice, education and real-world outcomes for dogs.

What we didn’t fully anticipate was just how many people were ready for that space to be available to them and how fast they would find it.

In a relatively short period of time, NAPET has grown into a community of 2,000 like-minded individuals who share a commitment to responsible training, open discussion and supporting one another. That growth hasn’t come from hype or trends, it’s come from people showing up, contributing, asking questions, sharing experienc, and engaging in meaningful conversations about a topic we all feel incredibly strongly about

For that, we want to say a genuine thank you.

Thank you to the trainers who bring professionalism, experience and balance to the discussion.
Thank you to the dog owners who are here to share their amazing real life stories and advocate for their dogs.
Thank you to the professionals behind the scenes who help moderate, guide and support the community as a whole.
And thank you to everyone who has invited others in, shared content or simply taken part respectfully.

This milestone matters because it reflects something bigger than a number. It shows there is a strong and growing appetite for clarity, education and ethical practice in dog training.

It shows that people want to be part of a community grounded in real world experience, thoughtful discussion and genuine concern for dog welfare all across the UK (& wider world).

While today is about recognising how far we’ve come, the real focus is on continuing this pace and progressing forward together. The strength of NAPET will be its people and the impact of this community grows every time someone shares knowledge, challenges misinformation or helps another dog and owner succeed.

We encourage everyone here to help spread the message of NAPET! not for numbers alone but because the work being done within this community has real consequences, to real dogs and the real people that care for them.

Ethical, effective training changes outcomes. It keeps dogs in homes, gives them freedom and clarity and in many cases, directly contributes to dogs being rehabilitated, rehomed, and kept alive when other options have failed.

That is the true measure of success.

So thank you for being part of this ongoing journey, for contributing to its momentum and for standing together in support of responsible, welfare-focused training.

Together, we’re building something that truly matters and we’re just getting started.
